Adults

Subsidised Counselling Prices for ADULTS effective from 16th October 2024 for a maximum of TEN sessions.*

Registered Counsellor       -       Couples $70          Adult   $50

Student Counsellor             -      Couples $40          Adult    $30

Follow Up / Private Counselling Prices for ADULTS effective from 16th October 2024

Registered Counsellor       -       Couples $120          Adult   $100

Student Counsellor             -      Couples $65            Adult    $55

*Referrals from external agencies will be charged at the full counselling rate. **WINZ clients may be eligible to receive an allowance for their counselling sessions.

Children under 18

Children may be able to access 10 fully funded sessions. Our counselling coordinator will speak to you about this once we receive your referral. Conditions must be met to receive this funding.

Fees are payable at the time of the appointment by cash or EFTPOS or through online banking.

FFSS reserves the right to charge full fees for all missed appointments or appointments cancelled at short notice.

(B.App.Soc.Sci) (Counselling), NZAC registered counsellor, Registered FDR voice of the child mediator.

Tina has trained in client-centered Therapy. She has worked in the Waiuku/Franklin community for several years. Tina has over 20 years of experience in working with children and young people through a range of roles, youth leader, daycares, teacher aide, and a nanny.

Charlotte’s approach is client led and person centered with an emphasis on the therapeutic relationship, authenticity, compassion, awareness, and inner self strength. Charlotte is very passionate about the needs and support of others and their unique experiences and a strong advocate for holistic mental health.

Janita has a passion for people and for seeing her client’s recognise their strengths and feel empowered for change. Her client-centered approach means that she personalises her work to suit the needs of the client, and she aims to work collaboratively in every aspect of the counselling experience. Janita work’s with adults, teens and children, and is driven to help people develop tools that will equip them to go forward with confidence.

Regina has been working in the Mental Health and Addictions space supporting its leaders with business management and improvement and change projects for over 5 years. In 2021 she started her Bachelors in Applied Counselling so she could also support people in our community at the forefront of their distress.

Centean advocates for a holistic and collaborative approach to wellness. She firmly believes in the healing power of connection/whakawhanaungatanga and the therapeutic relationships ability to facilitate growth and enhance the mana of both client and counsellor. She is passionate about supporting clients to recognise their inherent resilience, increase self-awareness, and tap into their own innate wisdom and creativity. Her kaupapa is to help clients discover who they want to be and to empower them to live a life aligned with their true values and aspirations.

Centean is of Ngāi Tūhoe descent and is currently on a journey to reclaim her own taha māori.

Bec is a student counsellor in year two of her Bachelor of Counselling at Wintec in Hamilton. She has worked at Franklin Family Support for the past three years. Bec is passionate about collaborating with clients to help them achieve overall well-being. She takes a holistic approach, recognizing that all aspects of life – emotional, physical, social, and spiritual – contribute to our sense of fulfillment.
